Our Mission Statement

We at Weimaraners-R-Us are dedicated to the overall welfare of Weimaraners that have been abandoned, neglected, abused, and placed in shelters or whose families can no longer provide care for them.  We exchange information and work with other humane organizations to help locate lost pets and abandoned and abused animals. We strive to rescue, rehabilitate and place Weimaraners without profit into the most suitable, permanent, loving home. All rescued dogs in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all necessary medical attention.

We strive to provide a source of public education on the Weimaraner breed and its temperament while acknowledging the Weimaraner’s behavioral problems, and need for obedience training and encourage responsible breeding practices and consumer education, while offering ongoing assistance to adopting or prospective families to help overcome behavioral and training problems.  Our goal is for every Weimaraner to become a beloved, well cared for family member in a permanent well suited home. We encourage you to adopt a Weimaraner or purchase one from a responsible and reputable breeder.

One hundred percent of all donations to Weimaraners-R-Us go to the care, rescue, veterinary attention and other essential items for rescued Weimaraners.

We strongly believe that all Weimaraners deserve love and companionship and should be treated with dignity in all circumstances. The ultimate goal of Weimaraners-R-Us is to have all people share this philosophy, creating a better relationship between Weimaraners and their owners.
